The soundtrack and atmosphere of this game does a great job of giving you that “Go Fast, Die Fearless” vibe. The simulation part comes from the management in-between races, such as deciding what to repair during the limited time between each stage. There are plenty of cars to choose from and career modes to compete in.
The arcade aspect of the game comes in its racing format.
